Episode Four takes us from the excitement of Nashville, north to New Haven, CT. I reconnected with my high school BFF's father in Charlotte, finally met a real live Ash (from the Sam Ash music store chain), and met Howie, who arranged the Sam Ash portion of the tour. Driving the RV in NY was terrifying!!! Once we survived it, we had a great hang w the mega-talented guitarist Vicki Genfan. In CT, I booked a solid day off to get to hang with my mentor Joe Diorio. Last time I passed through, I only had a couple hours, so I wasn't going to let that happen again! It was an inspiring leg of the tour. Next up, midwest to home.
Here's the final run of my two-month summer USA tour. It goes from the midwest to homecoming #1 in Ft Collins, CO, onward to R&R time in Yellowstone National Park with Jesse's wife, to the Idaho Potato Museum, and finally homecoming #2 in Portland, OR. Many memories from the 10,000 mile summer are recounted RVTV style.
