Putting a plug in the Grateful Dead after 50 years was a bittersweet experience, but the band went out the way it really lived — performing onstage for adoring audiences.
After two shows at Levi's Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area, and three shows at Chicago's Soldier Field over the 4th of July weekend, the Grateful Dead was (allegedly) history.
