The band also said that their first album of new material in 13 years will arrive later in 2019.

The Who have announced a North American tour.

Titled "Moving On!," the tour will take the band across North America in two segments: one in the spring and one in the fall. You can check out their full itinerary below.

"The Who are touring again in 2019," guitarist Pete Townshend said in a statement. "Roger (Daltrey, the band's frontman) christened this tour 'Moving On!' I love it. It is what both of us want to do. Move on, with new music, classic Who music, all performed in new and exciting ways. Taking risks, nothing to lose. Looking forward to seeing you all. Are you ready?"

Featuring guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button and drummer Zak Starkey, the band will also be backed by a full orchestra during each show.

"Be aware Who fans, just because it's The Who with an orchestra, in no way will it compromise the way Pete and I deliver our music," Daltrey added. "This will be full throttle Who with horns and bells on."

The band also revealed in a press release that their first album of new material in 13 years will arrive later in 2019.
