There are tons of concerts and events to see at the average Winter NAMM convention, but one of the "must see" rave-ups for the 2015 show in Anaheim, California, was the She Rocks Awards. Held January 23, at the Anaheim Hilton’s Pacific Ballroom, the second year of the event—which pays tribute to women leaders and artists in the music industry — starred Orianthi (who also co-hosted the awards show with the event's founder, Laura B. Whitmore), Mindi Abair, the Bangles, Colbie Caillat, and SHEL. Richie Sambora made a surprise appearance performing with Orianthi after SHEL opened the show. The house band was lead by Zepparella guitarist Gretchen Menn, and included her Zepparella band mates Angeline Saris (bass), and Clementine (drums), along with guest keyboardist Jenna Paone.
