Ryan Adams recently announced his new album Prisoner will release February 17, 2017 on Pax-Am/Blue Note.

The new LP comes in the wake of Adams' 2014 Grammy-nominated self-titled release, his Live at Carnegie Hall collection, and a full-album cover of Taylor Swift's 1989.

After tweeting this image, media outlets including Stereogum and Consequence of Sound reported that Prisoner is apparently named after the Jacques analog delay stompbox of the same name.
