Lita Ford and supporting act Dorothy Martin played to a sold-out show at New York City’s Webster Hall last night, April 27. The two performed “Cherry Bomb,” the hit song by Ford’s Seventies group the Runaways, with assistance from Halestorm singer and guitarist Lzzy Hale. Ford and Hale also performed “Close My Eyes Forever,” a song from Ford’s 1988 solo album, Lita, cowritten by Ford and Ozzy Osbourne.
Ford released her latest album, Time Capsule, on April 15. The album is comprised of recordings Ford made in the Eighties with musicians that include bassist Billy Sheehan, Kiss bassist Gene Simmons and Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen and singer Robin Zander. The recordings were previously unreleased.
