Could Dave Mustaine’s daughter be thinking of following her old man into the music business?
Electra, the Megadeth founder’s 17-year-old daughter, posted a pair of videos to her YouTube channel this week in which she shares some of her nascent musical efforts. In the most recent of the two, she demonstrates her progress on acoustic guitar by strumming a bit of “Take Me to the Church” by Irish singer-songwriter Hozier. She also shared a brief video in which she plays Beethoven’s “Für Elise” on piano.

This isn’t Mustaine’s first musical effort. She previously sang Megadeth’s “A Tout le Monde” live on Seattle’s New Day Northwest morning TV program. She also sang with Michael Sweet on his version of Neil Young’s “Heart of Gold.”
One thing is for certain: she doesn’t have to leave the house to find a guitar instructor.
