GP Presents Trace Bundy on March 28th at Slim’s—Win Tickets!
Trace Bundy’s star continues to rise. The man fans refer to as the “Acoustic Ninja” holds court on a bigger stage on each visit to the Bay Area where GP headquarters is located, and it’s GP’s pleasure to help rally the player community for his solo performance on the March 28th at Slim’s—Boz Scaggs’ venerable venue in San Francisco’s fashionable South of Market district.
Bundy is an adept fingerstylist who uses an array of techniques and devices to push the boundaries of solo acoustic performance. He incorporates tapping, slapping, harmonics, looping, and multiple capos to get his musical ideas across. He musters a lot of sound for on man, and displays a deft gift for gab between tunes.
According to his website, Trace has independently sold over 90,000 albums, he regularly sells-out shows in 23 countries and counting, and he’s racked up over 29 million YouTube views to date.
Bundy’s influences span the musical spectrum from classical to heavy metal, and he’s adept at creating solo acoustic arrangements of whatever suits his fancy. Watch Bundy render “Sweet Child O’Mine”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOoMWnLxHH4
