Coldplay released a new song today called "Miracles," which was written for the upcoming Universal Pictures' film, Unbroken.

The epic drama follows the incredible life of Olympian and war hero Louis "Louie" Zamperini (Jack O'Connell) who survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash during World War II-only to be caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a series of prisoner-of-war camps. Academy Award® winner Angelina Jolie directed and produced the film.

The song is available to stream here. "Miracles" will also be available from iTunes as a single track download.

The Unbroken Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be released on Monday, December 15th by Parlophone and Atlantic Records, and the movie opens in theaters on December 25th.

Last week, the seven-time Grammy Award winning group was nominated for three new Grammy Awards, taking Coldplay's career total of nominations to 30.
