Stone Temple Pilots Kick Off Reunion Tour This Weekend! New Tour Dates Announced!

One of this summer’s most highly-anticipated music events has arrived.  Stone Temple Pilots’ long-awaited reunion tour, their first trek together in 8 years, is set to kick off this Saturday, May 17th in Columbus, OH.  The 60-city tour will bring the iconic band’s brand of charismatic musicianship and exhilarating live shows to amphitheatres all across North America.

On the eve of the tour’s kick-off, the band is excited to announce newly added dates for their reunion tour, which will keep Stone Temple Pilots on the road through October.

Founded in 1992, Stone Temple Pilots-- Scott Weiland, vocals; Dean DeLeo, guitars; Robert DeLeo, bass; and Eric Kretz, drums—have been a dominant force in rock music since their inception. The group’s impressively extensive and top-selling music has cemented their standing as one of the most successful rock groups of all time having sold more than 35 million albums worldwide. The band’s immense and distinguished catalog includes five critically acclaimed studio albums have spanned countless hits including 1994’s Purple, which went to #1 on Billboard Magazine’s Top 200 Album Chart, six #1 singles and fifteen Top 10 singles on the Billboard charts.
