Fender University announces the highly-anticipated spring session of the program is set to take place March 4-8, 2009 in Corona, California. Fender University is an exclusive music education program for guitar enthusiasts worldwide. The program offers behind-the-scenes access to Fender’s manufacturing headquarters and world-renowned Fender Custom Shop, in addition to a series of music workshops, hands-on educational experiences, performance opportunities, and special guest appearances.
Enrollment is limited to 25 guitar and bass scholars worldwide, and is open to players of all skill levels and musical styles. Additionally, it offers an exciting and unique opportunity to share in the legacy of Fender through a hands-on, direct experience with Fender products and people.

Past courses at Fender University have included interactive workshops, intimate performances and special appearances by guitar heroes such as Yngwie J. Malmsteen, John 5, Dweezil Zappa, Greg Koch, Willy Porter, Jeff Kollman, Reggie Hamilton, and Tony Franklin.
