BandPage, the platform more than 500,000 musicians use as a central online profile to reach, engage and monetize millions of fans, launched the ultimate rock benefit “Experience” just in time for the holidays. Through their Experiences platform, BandPage has offered fans the opportunity to win a chance to attend Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp™: Powered by Guitar Player in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 13-16, 2014. All sweepstakes entries benefit the Music in Schools Today (MUST) organization.

“It’s a very powerful thing when you can simultaneously bring a music fan’s biggest dream to life by sending them to Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp, and help fund MUST programs that make music a part of the core academic curriculum for K-12 students,” said J Sider, CEO and founder, BandPage. “We’re honored to facilitate this Experience with Guitar Player for one of our favorite charities.”

The Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp Charitable Sweepstakes includes the cost of camp, domestic airfare and a four-night's stay at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Camp hopefuls can purchase an unlimited amount of sweepstakes entries for $9.99 each. Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp offers all levels of musicians, including beginners, the chance of a lifetime to learn from an all-star line-up of artists. During the four-day camp, attendees are placed in a band with a Rock Star counselor and learn to perfect their music knowledge while working alongside some of rock’s greatest talents. Each camp band will perform live on stage at the House of Blues in Las Vegas for friends and family.

The camp is led by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Joe Perry (Aerosmith), three-time Grammy winner Steve Vai and Grammy award winner Eric Johnson. Participants will also play with guest star performers Michael Anthony (Van Halen), John 5 and Orianthi. Rock Star counselors include: Elliot Easton (The Cars), Gary Hoey, Joe Vitale (CSN, Joe Walsh), Tony Franklin (The Firm) and members of Marilyn Manson, Guns N Roses, Alice Cooper, The Eagles, Chicago, Quiet Riot and more. Through recording sessions, seminars and other events, these rock icons will share their experiences, techniques, riffs, tone tips and creative concepts. Along with these guitarists, the editorial staff of
Guitar Player will be on site to interact with camp attendees.

"Music education should be an essential part of everyone's life,” said Joe Satriani, legendary guitarist and former Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp participant. “I'm happy to support the programs that Music in Schools Today provides for thousands of young people all across the country."

MUST is a San Francisco-based organization that provides a comprehensive set of music programs for pre-K through 12 students in the Bay Area. Their mission is to create initiatives that are resistant to budget cuts. MUST serves over 28,000 children and youth annually in schools and community centers, conducts research and development and advocates to restore music as an essential principle of education.

The Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp Charitable Sweepstakes is available now on BandPage Experiences. The Experience winner will be selected at random and notified prior to camp’s start date.
