BamaJam Music & Arts Festival to Feature Broad Spectrum of Bluegrass Music!

The high lonesome sound will be heard ringing throughout the hills of Enterprise, Alabama, during the first ever BamaJam Music & Arts Festival taking place June 5 – 7, 2008 at Boy Scout Road and Highway #167.  Performers on the bluegrass stage on June 6 and 7 represent a broad landscape, from the steeped-in-tradition sounds of Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder and The Del McCoury Band; to the contemporary Blue Highway, Dan Tyminski, Cherryholmes and The Claire Lynch Band; to the progressive leanings of Mountain Heart, The Emmitt-Nershi Band and The Duhks.  Local band Pure & Simple kicks things off on Friday, June 6.
