TECH 21 ROTOCHOIR
Amazingly realistic rotary-speaker effects that replicate the entire system— including the amplifier, and the sounds produced by both the lower rotating baffle and the upper treble horn.
VOODOO LAB GIGGITY
Giggity functions like a combination of overdrive and EQ to dramatically increase the ballsiness of an amp/guitar combo— making, say, a Tele though a Deluxe sound a lot more like a Les Paul through a Marshall.
65 AMPS EMPIRE
This 22-watt, hand-wired amp nails three eras of “British” (read Marshall) amplifiers. Channel 1 delivers a clean ’60s-style sound (designers Dan Boul and Peter Stroud describe it as “Townshend-like”), channel 2 covers the fatter, dirtier tones of the ’68-’72 era, and Channel 3 provides a higher-gain ’80s-style response.
Designed in collaboration with Davy Knowles, Howard Leese, Michael Ault, Paul Smith, and Tom Wheeler, the gorgeous Signature boasts slightly elongated 408 Bass and Treble humbuckers, which not only provide eight sounds, but also deliver a hip single-coil sound without the usual loss of volume.
SANTA CRUZ 00-SKYE
Collaboratively designed by SCGC’s Richard Hoover and Portland, Oregon-based jazz guitarist Eric Skye, the 00-Skye features a slightly deeper body for enhanced bass and volume, and a 24.9"- scale fretboard.
