Alfred Music Publishing has released The Huge Book of Classical Guitar Solos in TAB, an essential collection of time-honored classics from various parts of the world and music periods, produced in partnership with the National Guitar Workshop.
The Huge Book of Classical Guitar Solos in TAB offers guitarists of any level a solid collection of easy and intermediate classical pieces to successfully perform at weddings, private parties, restaurants, and other occasions with ease. Featuring music from the Renaissance, classical, and ragtime to Spanish and traditional wedding repertoire, the book includes over 400 pages and 150 solo guitar arrangements of favorites from some of the best-known composers, such as J.S. Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Scott Joplin. A section completely dedicated to wedding music is also included.
The collection features both standard music notation and TAB to make learning the pieces quick and easy. The music is intended to be played on a classical (nylon-string) guitar, but can be played on a standard acoustic (steel-string) as well. Music reference pages detailing signs, symbols, terms, along with an overview of how to read TAB and a brief history on Renaissance music are also included.
As part of Alfred’s ongoing commitment to improving the environment, this classical guitar folio is printed on 100% recycled paper.
The National Guitar Workshop is dedicated to bringing the best in music education to guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers, and vocalists regardless of style of music or level of ability. Their highly developed courses foster meaningful experiences through performance instruction and supportive learning environments.
