The Winery Dogs are giving their fans two reasons to raise a celebratory toast.
The hard-rocking power trio — featuring Richie Kotzen, bassist Billy Sheehan, and drummer Mike Portnoy — is reissuing its self-titled debut in a pair of bonus-packed editions.
The Winery Dogs Special Edition is a two-disc release that includes the standard album on one disc and a second disc of live material. Titled Unleashed in Japan 2013, the new disc features 10 tracks recorded live onstage during the group’s July 2013 tour, including “Criminal,” a song previously unavailable in the U.S. The set comes with a 16-page booklet of live photos as well as lyrics. Unleashed in Japan 2013 is also available as a stand-alone digital album.
Dog Treats: The Winery Dogs Deluxe Special Edition is a limited-edition release presented in a package that resembles a box of dog treats. It includes The Winery Dogs Special Edition, The Winery Pups demos from the original recording sessions, a DVD featuring four music videos and interview footage, a studio diary written by Mike Portnoy, and unique merchandise unavailable elsewhere. Portnoy gives a preview of Dog Treats in the video below.
