I can’t possibly imagine what drives the French to build guitars from steel, but I have to say, I like it. One look at a James Trussart or Loïc Le Pape creation, and you will too. There's an undeniable sense of "cool" surrounding these instruments; the concept of taking tried and true designs and breathing new and unique life into them is an art unto itself. Indeed, these guitars may look familiar, but their tone and feel is anything but.
