Morifone Guitars has unveiled its innovative new Quarzo model.
The Quarzo, spec-wise, is based on a '59 Burst, with a figured or plain carved maple top, and a mahogany body and neck. The kicker though, is Morifone's eye-catching, patented Aileron headstock.
According to Morifone, the Aileron headstock—the design of which was inspired by modern jet figthers and Italian supercars—delivers easier string-bending, better playability and tone, and more sustain.
The Quarzo also features headstock joint reinforcement, a double-action truss rod, a belly contour and a pickguard that floats without a bracket.
The Morifone Quarzo can be preordered now for $3,999.
