Neo-Tokyo 2099 reports that a Godzilla guitar designed by The Alfee guitarist Takamizawa Toshihiko has been put up for sale.
Manufactured by ESP, with the support of Toho—the studio that created Godzilla—the guitar was designed to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the legendary monster. It features an ebony fingerboard, a Floyd Rose bridge and a single EMG85 pickup.
Only five examples of the guitar will be made available, and will be sold for a price of 5.55 million yen (about $51,600) each. Orders are available from today, August 7, through September 30.
