Fender has unveiled the new limited edition Rosewood American Professional Jazzmaster.
The new model features a one-piece solid deep-“C” profile rosewood neck and fingerboard, and V-Mod Jazzmaster pickups. This particular Jazzmaster also features a bone nut and narrow-tall frets.
The Jazzmaster's original floating tremolo tailpiece/bridge combination has also been redesigned for this model, with a screw-in arm, adjustable tension and redesigned saddles.
Controls-wise, the guitar features lead and rhythm settings with independent volume controls and tone shaping switches, in addition to a master volume/tone with a treble-bleed circuit and a 3-way pickup selector.
Due to CITES regulations, it's unusual to see an all-rosewood neck on a Fender, so it wouldn't be surprising if these get snapped up fairly quickly.
The Fender Limited Edition Rosewood American Professional Jazzmaster is available now, in Shell Pink, Surf Green and Olympic White finishes, for $1,749.99.
