Designed in collaboration with David Crosby - who adorns its... eye-catching, artwork - in the hopes of inspiring young people to vote, the D-16E Rock the Vote guitar is built with satin-finished sycamore back and sides.
The guitar also has a Sitka spruce gloss top, and a high-performance neck taper, for easier playability.
Though its looks may override any thoughts or questions you might be having about how the D-16E Rock the Vote sounds, it does come equipped with Fishman Matrix VT Enhance NT2 electronics, for those taking notes.
“My hope is that this guitar will inspire people to register to vote and exercise this fundamental and important right,” Martin CEO Chris Martin said of the guitar in a press release.
The Martin D-16E Rock the Vote acoustic guitar is available now for $2,799.
