Les Paul celebrated his 90th birthday with a star-studded concert/lovefest at New York’s Carnegie Hall on June 19. Part of the JVC Jazz Festival, the “All for Paul” event was presented by Gibson (and co-produced by the Carlini Group), and it included performances by the birthday boy, Steve Miller, Peter Frampton, Derek Trucks, Neal Schon, Pat Martino, Edgar Winter, Steve Lukather, José Feliciano, Tommy Emmanuel, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Bucky Pizzarelli. You may even spot one or two of the stars in this riotous “mob shot” from the show’s finale.
