The WV540VASI and WV40VASI join other Ian series guitars, the SI60MW and SI61G. They are made from solid mahogany with Ian’s signature Blood Red graphics and feature a Mahogany/Set neck and the Buzz Feiten® Tuning System.
The WV540VASI is built in the Washburn USA Custom Shop and features a carbon glass epoxy composite fretboard, an Original Floyd Rose® bridge, Sperzel® tuners and Seymour Duncan® pickups. Periodically, Scott stops by the Washburn facility outside Chicago to hand splatter each guitar himself. It will retail for $2,699.90.
The WV40VASI comes with a Rosewood fretboard, Grover® Exclusive tuners, Randall® pickups and a Licensed Floyd Rose® bridge. It will retail for $1,249.90.
