Tanglewood Guitar Company UK, the United Kingdom’s best-selling acoustic guitar brand, is bringing two of its successful entry-level guitar packs to the North American market. Though the company offers a slate of guitar packs in its native United Kingdom, these two products will be the first Tanglewood guitar packs offered in the USA and Canada. The TW8-WC is a laminate dreadnought guitar in a Natural Gloss finish with select Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, and includes an attractive hard shell case in vintage tan color. The TW8-ST-PACK is a solid-top dreadnought guitar in Natural Satin finish with Solid Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. The guitar comes in an eye-catching graphic box, and includes a gig bag, strap, picks, and eMedia educational CD-ROM (in four languages). Both guitars feature a Mahogany neck, Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, ABS binding and compensated saddle, die-cast chrome machine heads, and a full 25½" scale length. “Guitar packs represent an important market segment for Tanglewood in the UK,” says Erik Lind, Product Manager for Tanglewood at its U.S. distributor Musiquip. “Bringing these packs to North America ensures that new guitarists on this continent can be equipped right from day one with an instrument that offers exceptional Tanglewood value. And while they’re perfect for any beginner, they can also be a great choice for an accomplished player simply looking for an affordable instrument that is still unmistakably a Tanglewood.” Both guitar packs will begin shipping to North American dealers in September of 2010. Suggested Retail price of each pack is $279.For more information, visit www.tanglewoodguitars.co.uk/
