Take a Stand Inc Announces New Line of Handcrafted Guitar Stands

June 16, 2010

0.0000.astandTake a Stand, Inc. is launching a line of guitar stands created as fine furniture – meticulously designed to be structurally sound, aesthetically beautiful, and flattering to your guitar and its surroundings. Take a Stand guitar stands are handcrafted using the finest hardwoods with wood trim accents, precision machined metal, and genuine leather. As a gift or for yourself, they are dramatic artistic statements.

Designed and patented by Stuart Mono, the stands provide a balanced low center of gravity for maximum stability. Minimal contact with the guitar’s finish is an essential feature. The contact points are surgical rubber covered with genuine leather, thus protecting the guitar’s finish. The supports are secured to the graceful neck of the stand using internal hardened stainless steel pins.

The two models available can accommodate virtually all guitars including unique shaped guitars like Gibson Flying Vs and Explorers. Tangled electric cords are not an issue, as the guitar hangs free of the base. So, not only are the stands elegant and graceful, they are safe and a pleasure to use. Priced from $299 and up, they can be customized to meet the wishes of the most discerning guitar owner.
