Spectrasonics Releases New Stylus RMX Version 1.2

February 1, 2005

The Stylus RMX Realtime Groove Module was released in October 2004 and has become one of the hottest software virtual instrument plug-ins on the market, winning rave reviews around the world from both customers and the press. “We’re very pleased with the positive reaction to Stylus RMX,” said Eric Persing, Spectrasonics’ Founder and Creative Director. “Version 1.0 of Stylus RMX was just the beginning! The flexibility of our new S.A.G.E. technology opens up so many possibilities for continuing to develop Stylus RMX into an even more amazing tool for composers, remixers and producers. I think people are going to really love the new effects modules and library of effects presets we’ve created. The ability to instantly swap out entire racks of effects on-the-fly inside of a groove is a lot of fun.”

The Stylus RMX virtual instrument plug-in also adds compatibility for 8-pairs of multiple audio outputs in both Digidesign® Pro Tools™ v6.7 and Apple® Logic™ v7. Multiple outputs are also currently implemented in VST host platforms. New Stylus RMX Version 1.2 includes features like three brand new effect modules (Radio Delay, PRO-Verb and Spring Verb), a new effect preset library of over 450 presets and rack presets created by Spectrasonics, single effects patch management (save, copy, paste, or load an effect patch), and much, much more.
