October 17, 2008

Fifty-five artists from eight countries will perform this weekend, beginning with the Friday night kick off concert featuring headliner guitarist Genie, featured performer
Kevin “KalimbaMan” Spears (Atlanta), and the debut of guitarist Bill Walker's new project New Delta at 8:00 p.m.

Then, Saturday and Sunday from noon until midnight, 50+ artists will perform in back-to-back 30-minute concerts. Featured will be headliners Luis Angulo (Mexico/Germany), Roberto Zorzi (Italy), and Kribophoric. (GP associate editor Barry Cleveland performs Saturday at 9:30 p.m.)

Mayor Ryan Coonerty has proclaimed Saturday as "International Live Looping Day" in the City of Santa Cruz and there will be a presentation to the featured performers and headlining artists on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Please come down and support this amazingly creative group of musicians who are blazing new trails in the real time, digital presentation of music of many different genres.
