Seagull Introduces the Mini Jumbo

March 1, 2005

The company touts a comparison with the standard model, revealing that the MJ is larger across the upper bout by about a half-inch and slightly wider at the lower bout. The biggest difference is in the waist, says Seagull, where the MJ comes in a full inch narrower. Beyond its curvaceous looks, the MJ claims to offer a sound distinguished by a strong midrange response, making it suitable for performing and recording situations that call for a guitar that will cut through the mix. The lively midrange in this guitar will also appeal to Fingerstyle players.
