Classes earlier in the day include funk playing, walking bass lines, practice techniques, playing with a drummer, and soloing. To keep class sizes small, registration for the full weekend is limited to 45 students. (Contact Bass Weekend Director Cory Combs at email@example.com to check on available space.) However, the afternoon guest performances are open to non-registrants for $15 each day, with doors opening at 3:00 and tickets available at the door.
The Bass Weekend will be held at 1875 Mission Street, between 14th and 15th, just blocks from 16th & Mission BART. For full downloadable descriptions of classes, schedules, locations and artist information, please visit www.sanfranciscobassweekend.com.
