According to radial president Peter Janis: "The best of show awards are presented each year at the NAMM University Breakfast and are chosen by six industry panellists. Awards are given to companies under the following categories: (1) Small goods, (2) Gotta stock it, (3) Companies to watch, (4) Trendsetters and (5) Best in Show. With over 1500 exhibitors and surely over 5000 products to chose from, making this list is a tremendous endeavour. We are very honoured!"
Radial was presented with top honours in tow categories: The 'Gotta stock it' category for the Primacoustic Recoil Stabilizer, a nearfield studio monitor platform that both isolates and stabilizes the loudspeaker to produce a more consistent signal. According to the judges: "It is so important to have a great pair of studio monitors for mixing that produce a true sonic representation of the music without losing clarity. This product preserves the music as intended"
The other award was for the highest honour of all: Best in show - Given to the entire Radial product line. The judges commented: "We love the entire Radial product line because they are smartly designed, well manufactured, and provide musicians with a variety of solutions for studio recording and live performance."
The NAMM Show - (North American Music Merchants) is the largest music industry show this side of the Atlantic, second only to the Musik Messe in Germany. NAMM attracts almost 90,000 visitors to Anaheim in January each year for a pilgrimage to see the latest guitars, amplifiers, keyboards, drums and sound equipment from major manufacturers around the globe.
Radial has been exhibiting at NAMM for close to 10 years and has steadily gained a reputation for building high quality equipment for the professional audio and guitar market. Artists that use Radial include many of the biggest names in the business including The Rolling Stones, The Who, Bryan Adams, Cirque Du Soleil, Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton.
