The songs, released in the “Glam Slam Room” portion of the site, include “San Jose Jam” featuring the New Power Generation and a demo version of the unreleased “Glass Cutter.”
“San Jose Jam” was recorded live at sound check in San Jose during the sold-out “Musicology” tour; the new song, “Glass Cutter,” is a demo that was recorded at Paisley Park earlier this year and features Prince on all instruments and vocals. The site also contains Prince’s controversial new video based on “Cinnamon Girl,” from his platinum Musicology album. The “Cinnamon Girl” video stars Keisha Castle-Hughes (Oscar nominee for "Whale Rider") as an Arab-American girl who considers taking drastic action after experiencing discrimination because of 9/11.
