The DXM09 mixer incorporates 24-bit digital mixing with noise-free digital mixing controls for the cleanest sound possible. The mixer’s look-ahead peak limiting on both the headphone and master outputs prevents signal clipping and ensures a distortion-free output signal at all times. PFL gains with metering are provided on all channels, and with its steep 3-band EQ with full isolation and independent kill switches for bass, mid, and treble, the new DXM09 provides a wealth of opportunities for contouring one’s sound.
The core element on the DXM09 is a unique effects interface that facilitates “on-the-fly” control of multiple effect parameters such as rate frequency and mix intensity. The DXM09’s twelve effects with automatic beat sync control (and tap override) ensure precise timing of delays, echoes, and other effects. Further, the mixer is equipped with a premium crossfader designed for performance and reliability that enables completely customizable cuts and fades with full slope control. Additional features of the new DXM09 include fader auto start, three phono inputs, two to five line inputs (using the phono defeat switch), two microphone inputs with EQ control, an RCA record output, as well as booth and ¼-inch balanced master output jacks.
Commenting on the new addition to the company’s highly successful DXM mixer line, Numark CEO Jack O’Donnell remarked, “We have been quite pleased with the popularity of the DXM digital line and are happy to expand it with the 3-channel DXM09.”
Numark’s new DXM09 3-Channel Professional DJ Mixer offers DJs outstanding value and numerous creative options in a highly capable, compact form factor. The DXM09 is available now.
