Music Player Publications and Music Products Industry Join Forces to Create a $75,000 New Gear Charity Auction

A variety of guitars, drums, winds, keyboards and accessories are up for bid, including many newly introduced items or experiences from Alvarez, Ampeg, Babicz, Cortex, Crate, D’Addario, DDrum, Dean, Drum Workshop, Evans, Fender, G & L, Gemini, Gemstone, Gibson, Guitar Player, Hartke, Hohner, Ibanez, iKey, Kaman, Kawai, Korg, Latin Percussion, Line 6, Loud, M – Audio, CF Martin, MakeMusic, Mapex, Meisel, Ovation, Parker, Paul Reed Smith, Pearl, PlanetWaves, Pro-Mark, Remo, The Recording Academy, Sabian, Samson, Sonor, Tama, Taylor, Vic Firth, Yamaha, Zildjian, and Zoom. Several of the instruments featured on eBay will be making their worldwide debuts at the NAMM show.

The New Gear Charity Auction includes a number of celebrity instruments and experiences. The centerpiece of the auction is the “Paul Reed Smith Immersion Experience” that includes a new custom Johnny Hiland Guitar, a meet and greet with Johnny Hiland, two spots in the PRS Golf Tournament, Two VIP passes to the Tournament Concert, a PRS factory tour and lunch with Paul Reed Smith himself!. Other items come from such recognized artists as Kiss, Brad Delson (Linkin Park), Danny Carey (Tool), Vinnie Colaiuta as well as a VIP Package for the 49th Annual Grammy Awards including passes to the post show party.

You do not need to bid on an item to help. Individuals are encouraged to post their own items on eBay to benefit the Music for All using the eBay Giving Works program. Individual sellers may designate a portion or all of the final sale price to Music for All, or they may make a donation online.
