Music Player Live! is part of the Music Player Network family, which publishes Guitar Player, Bass Player, Keyboard, and EQ,
MPL! and VH1’s Save the Music Foundation will work together to bring young musicians and music students out to the three-day event for a hands on experience with the latest music and recording gear. Most importantly, MPL! will donate a portion of each ticket sold to VH1 for Save the Music’s charitable programs.
MPL! is proud to announce that leading manufacturers Korg, Loud Technologies (Mackie, Tapco, Crate, Ampeg, and Knilling), Yamaha, and Roland have all signed on as Flagship Sponsors of the inaugural event. Flagship is the highest level of sponsorship. Each manufacturer will have a private room at the Crown Plaza Hotel in New York City, the site for MPL!
National musical instrument retailer Guitar Center has signed on as the event’s exclusive retail partner, and will have sales associates on-site to showcase and demonstrate products, answer questions as well as take orders and arrange delivery of products to consumers in attendance.
MPL! has also partnered with the Technology Institute for Music Educators (TI:ME) who will host their annual conference at MPL! on the first day of the three-day summit The focus will be on music education and technology and all attendees for the TI:ME conference will receive a discounted ticket for MPL!
Finally, MPL! will offer discounted tickets to all students who wish to attend the three-day schedule of events, workshops, and exhibits. The New York City School of Audio Engineering (SAE) and other area schools will be participating in the event.
