Mordy Ferber Reflection

Ferber blew minds at the Framus party at Musikmesse this year, with a bold, ferocious jazz-fusion set. On this album he’s slightly more, umm, reflective, opting for understated lines that get under your skin rather than hit you over the head. He does turn the heat up with his solo on “Wait ’til You Get Your Supply,” and he dishes out elegant nylon-string work on “Zipora (For My Mom).” Nice! Ferber Music.
