Leo Fender Gallery

October 20, 2005

Construction has begun on the Leo Fender Gallery at the Fullerton Museum Center, in Fullerton, California. Dedicated to the life and work of Leo Fender, the gallery is tentatively scheduled to open in April 2006, and will be the only permanent part of the museum. The first exhibit, titled “You Won’t Part with Yours Either: Robert Perine and Fender Guitars, 1957-1969,” will feature the work of Robert Perine—who was responsible for the bulk of Fender’s advertising at that time.
