Kramer and My Darkest Days Launch Auction to Benefit Rethink Breast Cancer Society

May 4, 2012
Launched in 2001, Rethink is the first-ever Canadian breast cancer charity to bring bold, relevant awareness to the under-40 crowd; foster a new generation of young and influential breast cancer supporters; infuse sass and style into the cause; and, most importantly, respond to the unique needs of young (or youngish) women going through it.

Rethink’s mission is to continuously pioneer cutting-edge breast cancer education, support and research that speak fearlessly to the unique needs of young (or youngish) women. By taking a groundbreaking approach to all aspects of breast cancer – public awareness, medical research and fundraising - Rethink is a new breed of breast cancer charity and plays an important role in expanding support for the cause. This is a specially designed and custom painted Kramer Nite V guitar for Sal Costa of My Darkest Days. It has been painted in the Breast Cancer pink and has the ReThink Breast Cancer logo. Courtesy of EMG it's loaded with a white classic pairing of the 81/85 humbuckers to keep the lows clean and tight on the C tuning Sal is using on this tour. Other upgrades are Schaller tuners with pearloid buttons to tie the design in from headstock to strap buttons, one off white string ferrules and one sweet setup.

Sal will be using this guitar on its North American tour with Nickelback. At the end of the tour, this guitar will be signed by all the bands on the tour (Nickelback, Seether, Bush, and of course MDD) and auctioned off through ReThink Breast Cancer to raise money and awareness for them.

Right now you can click the following links for your chance to win a meet and greet with the band and have photos with Sal and the Rethink NiteV.
