The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, a unique non-profit state-of-the-art mobile recording and multimedia studio, will be at Winter NAMM 2005 offering an opportunity for musicians to showcase their performances at the Bus's stage, outside the Anaheim Convention Center, and to introduce people to the latest gear, technology and Apple audio and video solutions.

Keyboard , along with its parent company, CMPinformation, are long-time sponsors of the Lennon Bus venture which provides otherwise unavailable opportunities for kids interested in music and the music industry. Magazines are distributed at every stop the Bus makes, from schools to concerts, festivals, conferences, and community events. Of late, the Bus is hosting Battles of the Bands throughout the country, supported by NAMM and its membership; some retail stops are being planned along the way.

The NAMM opening night festivities will feature John Legend, a powerful songwriter with a classic voice, whose major debut, “Get Lifted” (Columbia) has already garnered critical acclaim and is currently charting in the Top Five. The album includes features with Kanye West and Snoop Dogg as well as production by Will.I.Am from the Black Eyed Peas.

Guest appearances include Jordan Rudess, Tommy Tallarico, John Thomas, Tony Monaco, and special awards presentations include Keyboard's Hall of Fame Award to Chick Corea, Keyboard's Lifetime Acheivement Award to Herbie Hancock, Keyboard's Music and Technical Innovation Award to BT, Keyboard's B-3 Boss Award to Joey De Francesco.
