Although Kasabian occasionally sound similar to Radiohead and Oasis, they manage to concoct a delightful mix of noise that’s energetic enough to get you dancing, yet emotive enough to enjoy while sitting at home chilling out on the couch. If you’re looking for another Eddie Van Halen, you won’t find him here. What you will find, however, is a clever collection of random samples, spacey effects, and huge drum grooves—some of which take center stage so much, you’re left wondering what happened to the robustly riffing guitar you thought you just heard. Sorry, Eddie. Arista. —Pamela Porosky
