Background: Cook was born with pneumonia, and he lived in an incubator for the first month of his life. Now his brain is both an incubator for new musical ideas and a vault of musical knowledge. An army brat, Cook migrated between Florida, Germany, and Okalahoma. He began playing keyboards and writing songs at 13, inspired by the Beatles (particularly John Lennon). In 1998, Cook moved from Alabama to California to attend Sonoma State University, receiving a degree in the Philosophy of Music in 2003. While working on his Masters, he developed a curriculum for a course on the Beatles, which he has taught there for a couple of semesters. Cook formed the Righteous Fists of Harmony two years ago with a commitment to perform classic rock and roll.
