ISC 2005

August 19, 2005

The 2005 International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is accepting entries through September 15, 2005! Categories run the gamut from Pop/Top 40 to Gospel/Christian to Folk/Singer-Songwriter to Children’s Music, and more than $100,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded. But perhaps the most notable thing about the competition is this year’s judges roster, which includes Tom Waits, Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls, Benji Madden of Good Charlotte, Peter Hook of New Order, the Donnas, Universal Records president Monte Lipman, and Alligator Records’ founder Bruce Iglauer.
