The REMIX LIVE format combines a wonderful live music event with a great educational experience. The audience will see a new song built before their eyes, with musicians playing and DJs scratching new tracks that IAR faculty will record and mix into a new song. Featured artists include: DJ YONNY (BLACK EYED PEAS), Gregg Gerson (BILLY IDOL, ROGER DALTREY), Hilary Kole (SINGING ASTAIRE), Steve Rodriquez (ALICIA KEYES, BEYONCE), DJ SHORTY T (KRS-1), and Mark Berman (ARETHA FRANKLIN)
Admission is free, but space is limited. To register in advance, call 212-777-8550. The doors for REMIX LIVE VOL 2 open at 7 pm at the Tribeca Performancing Arts Center in the BMCC (Boro of Manhattan Community College), in Soho. The on-stage event will be followed by a chance to visit with all the event partners in a special reception area.
