Godin Releases A&L GT Gloss Top Acoustic Guitar

January 20, 2006

The new A&L GT is the first Gloss Top model in the line and a beauty it is at that. With matching trimmed gloss headstock, the GT is available in two radiant colors: Antique Burst and Trans Red. The genuine lacquer finish on the gloss top is further accentuated by the new Arched Rosette, which not only brings an attractive esthetic to this guitar but also promotes added strength and stability to the area around the sound-hole. This steel stringed dreadnaught features a solid top, laminated wild cherry back and sides, silver leaf maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and double function truss rod, as well as Tusq®top nut and fully compensated saddle. Sanded and buffed between each coat of lacquer, the gloss top beautifully contrasts the satin back and sides.

For those players looking to have great control over their amplified sound, the A&L GT is also available with the Godin Quantum 1 electronics system with under saddle transducer.

The A&L GT should appeal to the ears of players who enjoy a snug, bountiful bottom end as well as some sweet mid-range tones. From blues to rock, from country to folk, players from various styles can enjoy the incredible treasure trove of acoustic pleasure found in this Canadian made guitar.
