Free TR-808 Sounds Released for Roland's MV-8000

The first product of its kind to offer pattern-based step-sequencing, the Roland TR-808 helped to shape the quirky and instantly recognizable sounds of the 1980s. Propelled by its booming bass drum of doom, the 808 became a staple of hip-hop, R&B, and pop, appearing on more records than any other drum machine. Expensive and hard to find, the TR-808 is a rare treasure on today's vintage-instrument market.
