Fishman Offers Onboard Aura and Aura Pro Preamps to Retailers

December 11, 2008

An Aura preamp built into a guitar offers the best onboard control and sound quality available for OEM manufacturers.
Now, Fishman is offering these two preamps as retail products for new installations or for those who want to replace their old preamp with the state-of-the-art in acoustic amplification.
Mounted in the top shoulder of the guitar, the Onboard Aura is available for a standard size cutout while the Aura Pro is designed to fit in a smaller preamp footprint (1/3 smaller than the standard model sizing).
Both preamps integrate with Fishman’s Aura Image Gallery Software (included), an application that allows users to access Images for hundreds of guitar makes and models through Fishman’s free Aura Image library. The software also allows Aura Images to be sorted, managed, and grouped right on your computer. Users can then take advantage of the preamp’s open architecture by loading Aura Images via a USB cable.
The Onboard Aura holds 6 Images while the Aura Pro holds 4. The new Aura preamps include Fishman’s flagship Acoustic Matrix pickup. Both preamps offer state of the art features and Fishman’s Aura Acoustic Imaging Technology; Pickup/Image blend control
Volume control as well as bass, treble, and a wide-range semi-parametric EQ; Digital and fully programmable equalization; Feedback-fighting phase control; a built-in tuner with LED display; Automatic anti-feedback; Low battery indicator, and an innovative pivot design for instant 9V battery access.

The system includes an Acoustic Matrix Undersaddle Pickup and Switchjack Stereo Endpin Jack and is available in wide or narrow pickup formats (special orders for split format pickups)
Onboard Aura: $679.95 List / $449.95 Street
