Eastwood Guitars “Big Pick” artist search turns up the volume

On November 12 at 3:30 pm EST, Eastwood Guitars will announce the “Eastwood Guitars Big Pick Winter 08 Artist” on www.eastwoodguitars.com. The international judges have reviewed more than 1,500 submissions, and based on originality, creativity and stage presence, they have chosen one talented act. Eastwood will purchase and distribute 1,000 of their cds, provide free Eastwood guitars to the band, give airplay on Eastwood Radio along with international online support to help expand the reach of this great artist.

Montreal’s Hollerado was the “Big Pick Summer 08” winner, announced at the NXNE show in Toronto in June. The band is just coming out of the studio after working on their new album.

“We believe in original music and we want to help introduce the world to perhaps the next big indie act,” stated Mike Robinson, President of Eastwood Guitars, “Real music is out there and we want to help get your band the exposure it deserves.”

The “Eastwood Guitar Big Pick Summer 09” is accepting entries until Feb 28, 2009 and it is already looking like it will be more competitive and with more bands than the first two rounds. Go to www.eastwoodguitars.com for the complete story.
