Dynamic Amps DynaLead

January 22, 2010

0.0000dynamicDynamic Amplifiers has introduced the third iteration of the Dynamic 2040 (40W) series of amplifiers, the 2040HG (High Gain) model also called the DynaLead. Paying homage to both “blackface” and “plexi” amplifiers of the ’60s, this footswitchable two-channel amplifier takes the art one step further by creating a quasi-third channel, one that links the two, creating a very high gain lead option with its own gain and volume control. This amplifier also sports a 6-spring reverb tank with vintage reverb circuit and PowerStep, a circuit that reduces power to 50 percent or 90 percent, with no loss of tone quality. Additionally, this class AB amp allows the user to switch output tubes as it is factory biased for 6V6, 6L6 and the EL34 tubes it comes with. This is facilitated with two externally accessed switches. External bias adjustment and unique tone circuits round out the package.

Dynamic amplifers are all-tube, turret board construction, hand wired, and fitted with custom transformers. Available in head or combo format.
