Doom Metal Legends Pentagram Replace Eyehategod at Bumbershoot

July 18, 2011
Due to scheduling conflicts, Eyehategod have cancelled their Bumbershoot appearance. Veteran doom metal legends Pentagram are replacing them on Bumbershoot's Metal Showcase at the Exhibition Hall on Monday, September 3 at 6:15 p.m.

Much like last year’s appearance by Anvil, Pentagram’s performance pays tribute to the rich and long-running history of North American heavy metal. Formed in 1971, the band has enjoyed a career that’s helped shape the course of heavy music without gaining recognition outside a concentrated but influential group of fans – many of whom have gone on to form internationally recognized bands of their own.

They’ll be headlining the Exhibition Hall on Saturday, September 3 at 6:15 p.m. as part of Bumbershoot’s metal showcase.  Bring your earplugs and prepare to rock!
