Friends, family and fans of the guitar player "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott are banding together to build a tribute motorcycle. The motorcycle will be given to his brother Vinnie Paul Abbott. A fund has been established with Bank of America in honor of "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, who was shot and killed during a concert on December 8th, 2004. All funds collected will be used to build the motorcycle and in the case that contributions gathered surpass the cost of the bike the excess funds will be donated to the families of this tragedy.
The motorcycle will be built in the next couple of months by Rick Fairless of Strokers Dallas Custom Choppers who is donating time and labor. Mike Dusold of Dusold Designs has agreed to do the paint and graphics work on the bike. Funds are being raised to buy the parts and supplies needed to build the bike. These two together will be building a beautiful bike in honor of our fallen friend. This is to show Vinnie how much everyone loves him and to let him know how we share his sorrow in this tragedy.
If you are interested in making this Tribute motorcycle a reality please make your donations to the "Darrell Abbott Tribute Bike Memorial" Fund at your local Bank of America.
