Boss TU-88

December 1, 2009

SUGG_BOSS_TU-88-WH_TopCombining a tuner and metronome, the TU-88 ($90 retail/$69 street) is an ideal tool for getting your instrument in tune and keeping your chops in shape too. It has three tuning modes (chromatic, bass, and guitar), a flat tuning function, a virtual needle display, and Accu-Pitch in-tune verification with audible beep (which can be turned off if desired). The metronome section has a volume control, a tap tempo button, and selectable rhythm patterns. Also included is a headphone amp with speaker simulation and dedicated Volume control, a Mix input for jamming along to material from an mp3 or CD player. So why not have more functions on your tuner? This is a very handy device to keep in your gig bag.
